A purpose-matched thermal boiler system providing consistent heat energy to the veneer drying line. Available in saturated steam, thermal oil, and gas combustion configurations, with optional dust collection systems for biomass-fired installations.
Product Overview
The thermal boiler is what makes veneer drying possible. Every veneer dryer — whether roller, net, hot air roller, or press type — depends on a continuous and stable supply of heat energy delivered as saturated steam or hot thermal oil. When the boiler is undersized or misconfigured, dryer performance drops, veneer moisture becomes inconsistent, and throughput suffers. The boiler is not optional equipment: it is the foundation of the entire drying system.
We offer three core boiler technologies matched to different fuel sources and mill operating contexts. The saturated steam boiler and thermal oil boiler are both biomass-fired, built to burn wood waste from the peeling and setting lines: bark, sawdust, and offcuts. This turns a disposal problem into a usable fuel supply. The thermal oil boiler is the most common choice in Southeast Asian plywood mills, favoured for its low-pressure operation and simple safety profile. The gas combustion boiler is available for mills supplied by natural gas or LPG where biomass handling is impractical or emissions standards require cleaner combustion.
For biomass-fired installations, optional dust collection systems treat particulate-laden flue gas before release. Three technologies are available: pulse jet dust collectors for primary fine particle removal, water curtain dust collectors for combined particle and cooling, and electrostatic precipitators for high-efficiency capture. These can be installed as a single stage or combined in sequence to meet the emission requirements of the mill's location and jurisdiction.
